Tomorrow I shall have a look to see if the red cut lines are on some flowers I just put along the edge of an A5 document in SS, unfortunately my eyes are dropping as it’s just gone 1am so I darn’t open the prog again to check as I’ll never get to bed! I have the standard program of SS, which came free with my Portrait machine – does this make a difference as to why mine had no free images?

#Silhouette studio won t open software
I’m using the most up-to-date software (v.2.7.6) on Windows 7 (64bit), I have tried using the program from an earlier version of Windows, but that doesn’t work any better, I have spent days looking for help and advice and I’m really hitting a dead-end, can anyone offer some advice please? I have also tried “importing portfolio cd” and that doesn’t work, my program didn’t come pre-loaded with any images (is this normal?) and the free image from Silhouette’s own website also fails to download/install into the program….I’m going insane trying to get this to work and I haven’t even begun cutting and I’ve had the machine for 4 days lol! I have tried and tried and yet nothing happens! I am selecting two or more images in Windows, dragging them to the large square to the right of the folders list in SS and yet nothing! It doesn’t matter what file type I’m trying jpg, bmp, gif, jif (only kidding on the jif!) it’s so FRUSTRATING because I will be here all year importing images one by one. I am perplexed as to why I can’t import/drag multiple files over to the Silhouette Studio program.
